Windows 10 will automatically download and install updates in the background. When a restart is required, Windows will warn you beforehand and let you decide whether to restart immediately or later. Keep in mind that if wuauserv.dll download you postpone the restart too long, Windows will eventually require one.
Make sure you are running the installation media with administrative privileges. If you don’t see a UAC prompt when running it, right-click on the file and select Run as administrator. Also, users were offered free upgrades to Windows 10 which is still receiving security updates. Have you tried going into the bios and enabling the legacy drives? I’m having issues with the downgrade so I’m still working on it, but I have gotten the disk to start to boot. My only issue now is with the usb drives not working when I try to install.
